Then buy somewhere else. <shrug>. That’s the nice thing about dealerships. There are lots of them, and they are all independent. And for a given brand, they all sell the same thing. If you want something they are making 12 of, well, perhaps you should want something else.

I’m really not - I am someone who understands how the sales game works. It’s not about you.

You can always just not play the game if you don’t like it. <shrug>

Tte automakers, of course. The dealerships serve an incredibly important role to THEM. Which is why they aren’t going anywhere. Automakers may make lip service about that, and they certainly want to be able to control them more, but they do NOT want them to go away. Sales are incredibly expensive to acquire.

I don’t disagree, and would take one of these over any American Land Yacht for crossing a contintent (and I owned a ‘79 300TD). But the French version was soooo much more comfortable in every way - the 604. FAR softer but just as controlled ride, FAR better seats that didn’t feel like a piece of plywood on floppy

It’s not horrible if you are unconscious. Which an ambulance is equipped to enable.

It baffles me that people think Town Cars ride well. They manage to be wallowy and jiggley at the same time, thanks to having a suspension design from roughly 1962. I have MANY miles behind the wheel of those turds thanks to Hertz hilarious idea of what the word “upgrade” meant back before you could just pick whatever

Citroen was brilliant at suspension but lousy at seats. Peugeot got the suspension close enough, with far less expense and complication, and seats that were *superb*.

Certainly not anything American from the malaise era, because in actuality those seats SUCK after about 30-60 minutes. ZERO back support. They feel great in an around the block test drive, but over time your back will start to complain as you slump into unnatural postures. And that float barge ride only works on

The only hope is that the Democrats can get sufficient control of Congress in both houses to expand the court and dilute their influence. The court has been expanded several times, and really should be at least 12 to match the number of Federal Circuit Courts there are - each circuit is supposed to have a Supreme

Until very recently, the Supreme Court DID NOT have to abide by the ethical code that all other Federal judges are actually required to abide by. They did subject themselves to it, kinda/sorta in the past year or two when all of this started coming out.

I could parallel park a bus in that space.

The really weren’t “profiteering”. Think of how expensive it is to keep a glass palace auto dealership open. The building, the employees, the power bill, the phone bill, the IT staff, the water bill all has to be paid every month. And now instead of (just to pull numbers out of my ass) instead of being able to sell

The Blockchain GTS 1000?

I am shocked, just shocked, at this news. /s

Chrysler was barely a car company.

He has a plan. It’s batshit insane, but it’s a plan.

Or “Royal Family”.

He thinks he is going to be cranking Starships out like F-OneFiddies in a couple of years.

It’s a NYT style thing. They do it to everybody.
