As she should be - United States had basically the same powerplant as the Iowa-class battleships, and the US Government spent a fortune subsidizing her build so that she could be a troopship if needed.
Or the middle that probably isn’t “illegal”:
I FULLY expect a Harris Justice Dept to go after Musk for his illegal immigration and lying on his security clearance. And whomever she replaces Garland with is NOT going to be wearing Garland’s kid gloves.
Is it really surprising that two man-children just love each other?
He should have been slowing down more, and further ahead. When driving a 20-40T+ vehicle, you can’t wait until you KNOW something is happening, you have to anticipate that it COULD happen, and drive accordingly.
How ever did we manage in the 100 or so years of driving before cell phones became a thing?
As a kid I had friends whose parents had a business with a nice parking lot right on Main St in our home town in Maine. The town has an annual Clam Festival, and that parking was the closest to the center of the fun. Thier parents would close the business and let them run a parking concession for visitors every year,…
Obviously, money can’t buy good taste.

AA is certainly on the hook for damaging people’s equipment. And baggage handlers rarely have many fucks to give.
No, they benefit customers too. If checked bags were “free”, all airfare would simply be that much more expensive.
If they notice, most gate agents WILL deny you boarding until your group. But currently, your boarding group doesn’t show on the screen, so if you are scanning a phone or boarding pass yourself (the usual case post-pandemic), unless the gate agent happens to glance at it just right you will probably get away with it.…
So check your bag and board last if you want to. Even with the bag fees (which are pretty easy to avoid), you are still paying less than back in the “good old days” most of the time. At a minimum, on AA you can check it at the gate *for free*, which even saves the hassle of standing in line to check it at the ticket…
