Interesting article, but you guys should do a better job of covering LeBatard's tracks. He's off the record for a reason.

I'm disappointed: If any article today were going to be ruined by gore and porn, I'd think it would be this one.

Always keep arugula close. Mix with anchovy paste, avocado, and lemon juice; or grated parmesan, lemon juice, dash of salt and ground pepper; or mix with cooked pasta and chili flakes; or use as a bed for steak Florentine; or . . .

.

Calling it now: They're going to surfer him up, so he'll have lots of seashell necklaces and stuff like that, while keeping him as shirtless as possible.

Isn't this basically divesting the NCAA of its responsibilities for when students finally get paid? They can now say that the schools who are most likely to have to pay athletes can set the terms of that payment, and it's not on the NCAA as an organization to tell that school what to do.

Wait, what? That's how they're going to play him?

Good lord

Most salient point anyone could possibly make about this.

Did you mean saddest and most depressing movie of all time? I STILL can't watch it; it's just too oppressive. The scene where the clown sees everything destroyed and just obviously can't cope? The end where the dog's love just up and leaves him for no reason? GOD DAMN IT, that movie still haunts me.

So this could be a state by state issue, because when I worked in Chicago, I was told outright that it's illegal for restaurants to charge their servers the credit fees. Chicago's generally pretty friendly to restaurant workers though.

This could be my outer hipster talking, but I've got a soft spot for Lone Star.

Thank you for giving me a calm, rational response, unlike some folks above. I had enough trouble paying attention to the farm team when I actually followed the Cubs, let alone now. Didn't realize his fielding was so shoddy.

I didn't realize exaggeration was so hard to grasp. Sorry about that!

I've been avoiding following the Cubs because I don't hate myself as much as I used to, but I'm curious about Castro. The last time I checked, 5 errors in one game wasn't outlandish for him. Has he become that much better of a shortstop that a natural fielder is going to second instead of his natural position?

Whoosh

This isn't a block story necessarily, but I'm lonely and want to join the party.

These are unequivocally the highlight of my preseason. You're doing the lord's work, Drew.

Silver Sable could actually be an AMAZING movie. I still fondly recall the first issue of her series in the 90s (WITH MATCHING FOIL COVER); it was tightly-written, had an interesting cast, and kept the action going. That could be a movie done RIGHT.

Perfect Blue is supposed to be awesome, I get it. But Paprika completely wrecked me as a human being. That is one beautiful movie.
