Ok. In her defense, as someone who has been a network anchor (radio) and is still in broadcast news in a top 10 market, she likely DID have a hard break. You’re up against automation and you absolutely must hit that break (hit that post). If you don’t, the automation will cut you off. You have to backtime your way

No they don’t. I work in comedy, they rewrite jokes on the floor if the first joke doesn’t get a laugh. In post, we usually LOWER the laugh track.

I disagree. There’s the scene in Paris where Miranda opens up about her divorce kind of shows she’s above dropping her guard at times. I think the idea of this scene was also to show she wasn’t a one dimensional villain. She was dealing with a lot of problems in her personal life too. It was most likely cut because we

For me, it’s “gird your loins!”

I mean, it’s a comedy. If this was real life, I wouldn’t find it funny. Miranda is heinous. But Meryl’s delivery is flawless and so is Emily Blunt’s. Not to mention Stanley Tucci’s.  I crack up every single time. I also LOVE the make-over part.

This entire clip just fucked me in the wrong way.

I think if she had remarried and had other children, she would have been out there with form-fitting lycra in her pregnancies, and looking like a million bucks.

You reap what you sow. She is neither a child or a victim and I assume at some point in her life someone explained to her how unprotected sex works. I don’t wish ill will on her and don’t think she deserves to be blacklisted for her gross political views but hopefully this makes her rethink the company she keeps, as

I now must tell you about the best sex dream I ever had. I was at a library (one of my favorite things!) and Viggo Mortensen (another one of my favorite things!) came in and bent me over a desk (consensually) and hoody hoo! Then he gave me his phone number and left. I woke up feeling like I’d just smoked the best weed

of course he made you do all the work. have you ever seen legs with less thrusting power?

I guess. I started getting more into cooking a few years ago and I find that 60-90 minutes in the evening to be a way to slow down, to exercise my brain and relax. Pour some wine or bourbon, put on that Etta James Pandora station and make some art that you will then be able to consume.

5 or 6, and proud of it.

The 7th or 8th year is the hardest, not the 1st. Sorry.

Mary Tyler Moore finale!
I’m an old, and it’s a privilege to say I watched that as a kid in my single digits.

Not comedy, but Star Trek: The Next Generation had a perfect last episode. Breaking Bad’s was very good, too. Comedy shows just seem to peter out.

“No turbans for Ms. Talbert!”

I watched it SO MANY TIMES in college! “One more date and we’d have had a Greek tragedy on our hands!”

“You PEOPLE have the MORALS of GUINEA PIGS.”

God, can we just all take a moment to appreciate what a glorious movie Soapdish is?

It has arguably one of the greatest casts ever assembled, happily vamping it up for the better part of two hours.
