The authorities released the information to the public, not AA. Her sponsor could have told press and, well , anybody. But there is no kind of organization within AA that does anything like that.

There are no actual rules in AA. Everything is a suggestion, some of them very strong, but still. There is no authority to restrict or punish what anyone does in AA. A specific meeting could ban a person (and there's not even any rules on that), but she could show up at some other meeting.

AA has no such protections.
