I’m so in love with this image I’m going to tattoo it on my person.

There are so many talented people out there who deserve to have their voice amplified before these douchebags get another chance!! I’m really tired of this idea that if I’m not consuming their media I have no other options. I told a friend once when he was shocked by some famous movie I hadn’t seen “It’s not like every

It’s the men, of course, and often enough the white men, who are more likely to be crowned Kings of Woke, and granted TV shows and movies and well-paid comedy specials. There’s good money to be made in pretending to be a decent person, if you know how to leverage it. But how are we supposed to react, and to think, if

CK asserted “The whole point of comedy is to say things that you shouldn’t say. That’s the entire point.”

A girlfriend and I would read passages to each other and break up laughing, hysterically. The vocabulary throughout is completely insane. Should be said also that, like Austen setting the agenda later for all rom-coms, Fanny Hill is about the protagonist’s sexual education — she starts off as a virgin, then winds up in

I read Fanny Hill many years ago. Once you get past the delightfully florid language, it’s basically an 18th century version of the stroke books you used to see in airport book stores – paper-thin plot and characterizations holding together all sorts of over-the-top sex scenes.

I remember having to read this in grad school.  Nothing makes an erotic novel less erotic than parsing the hell out of every sentence for the sake of literary criticism.

I don’t know if Gillette razors cut into hair better than other razors, but nothing cuts into a person better than the truth.

The part that seems extra bonkers to me is that, by including Terry Crewe’s testimony, Gillette was even explicitly acknowledging male victims, which is something MRAs frequently scream about.

That, and that fact that anyone would even MENTION them as a group instead of as the societal norm.

Let me guess, they also feel the need to say they don’t abuse women and are Nice Guys(TM).

My friend posted it to her feminist meme page and there’s been a huge influx of angry dudes screaming they’re boycotting Gillette now.

You’ve been deep diving into this? May I also recommend PGEs shampoo, head & shoulders (despite cringey advertising) and ivory soap to assist with removing the stench?

The responses are fucking insane. I can’t see how anyone finds it offensive to suggest it’s better that a grown man intervene when a school kid is being beat up by a gang of kids?

I feel like the fact that you can be “working on a child” and still get drunk at a Christmas party could be a selling point for surrogacy to more women even if they don’t have any issues carrying/birthing.

I feel so terrible for those children and if what Andrea says is true (as I believe) - that woman. But dear God, esp. the Kelly children.

What does anyone expect her to actually do that hasn’t already been done ? Sue him ? Murder every enabler before challenging her father to a duel ? This is real life, not Kill Bill.

Seriously, leave her the fuck alone. She isn’t responsible for his actions. She doesn’t owe anyone a damn thing due to the accident of who she was born to.
