Sanrio has always been age blind. Just because Hello Kitty is cute doesn’t mean it’s “for kids” - that’s an American distinction because we view cute shit as inherently immature.

There are, there’s tons of biological proof for it, but I’m not falling for shitty anti-social-justice trollbait. Have a nice day and leave me alone.

I do see some grown looking people, maybe one is a body guard (aka underemployed 20 year old cousin) to the 9 year old?

I do like this idea that 139 is close enough to say you’re at a place. In which case I’m currently at Santa Barbara, Joshua Tree, AND San Diego. What a way to spend a Wednesday!

oh god, she is horrible isn’t she

I posted elsewhere but not sure if I’ll get out of the grey so I’ll clarify here as well: this isn’t Coachella. This is the Glendale Americana. These kids are having a fight at an upscale outdoor mall, next to the elevators by a Forever 21, an Apple Store, and a Sprinkles. Which is a very teen girl place to have a

I KNOW. I was like Team Bahbie—-wait what? Why? I just picked a team. But seriously. WhoaVicky is the WORST. She looks like a Cyrus cast off and when Miley went through her appropriation phase this chick was like, hold my beer. Her voice should be used for torture.

This is just making me really miss the series on banana-related beef among vegan youtube stars.

First - shame one everyone involveds parents. Two of these people are actual children.

Yeah I can’t tell if it’s just like a clinician being super factual or if an editor got in there and was like “make it more $alacious, bud.” There is one chapter in particular where the patient’s abuse is almost revealed like a sweeps-week shock plot. It’s not a perfect book by any means but I am finding it extremely

Just commenting to say—my therapist ‘assigned’ that book to me and didn’t warn me and it gave me nightmares for ages. It’s a good book and I’m glad I’ve read it, but it’s nice that you put that warning. It almost seemed like the author was going for shock value at some points?

I am reading a book about trauma called “The Body Keeps the Score” (it’s very good but also extremely graphic in detailing specific traumatic situations and I would advise anyone considering reading it to approach with caution).

I’ve worked in politics and government for nearly 20 years. Right now, I work for a public official.

Reality TV Show America. Welcome. You want controversy? You want drama? You want crime? Sex? War? Human misery? We’ve got so much of it all the time you won’t be able to stand it. Literally.

Oh totally, that’s the answer here really.
