As a person who was self conscious of her big ole ass I agree. I couldn’t bend over in middle school without buying a belt and tightening it to the nth degree. And even then the poor thing work hold on to my pants for dear life when I bent down.

I *think* they were trying to explain that they don’t know the country, tribe, or lineage they come from, as opposed to recent African immigrants who do. That makes a big difference.
