I don't know - doesn't the celebration kind of attack the taboo nature of talking about periods?

I'm so sorry, that's horrible. Ugh.

This is going to be weird and morbid, but one of my major relationship milestones wasn't losing my virginity - it was realizing that I voluntarily loved someone as much as (or more than) I loved myself.

I just went to one last night! People always think I'm weird. It's such a liberating experience. Glad to meet a fellow solo movie-goer!

Maybe "Being Able to Let Go of a Friend" should also be on this list, because that's a pretty major milestone, too.

Well, in this age, a wedding doesn't really start your "married" life in anything but a legal sense. I'm not in a very religious area or social circle, so I know this is different in other places, but no one I know has gotten married without living together first - and of the 100+ weddings I've worked, most couples

I agree that it shouldn't be this way, but at the moment, it is this way. There might be things we can do to try to shift things, but it still makes sense that a lot of women look forward to weddings - more than marriage.

Fully agree. I'm not a wedding-obsessed type, but one night in grade 11 or so a girlfriend and I planned out our weddings (bridesmaids, how many family members are coming, where might it be, types of flowers, etc. etc.), so because of that one night I can probably answer "yes" to the more general questions on here -

That is so sad. :(

Yeah! Like what can you even do with roses, on a trip abroad?

That's what I was going to say! But not as well. Thanks, aishku!

You're right on the 'comparing yourself' front. I think it's not exactly jealousy - or not directly. Like being jealous of someone else's qualities, as well as being jealous at the friendship itself?

I dunno, to me the "nude" underwear in this didn't really match their skin tones, so it just looked like they were wearing underwear to me?

You know, this is exactly how I felt too. I went and watched Thicke's video just so I could compare, and in JTs they seem a lot more like realistic bodies. Granted, they're thin, fit bodies, but their breasts do natural gravity-like things and in lots of the shots they don't look too beautiful to be true. They look

Ugh, neighBros!

Agreed!

Coooool!

It's so complicated though! Like I agree mostly. And I'm not sure I should have stayed with him - luckily we never had another dishonesty issue, and I'm glad the relationship ran its course, but it could have gone very differently and I couldn't have been too surprised.
