z0mg, this is exactly what I need, but I need it for ChromeOS. I just got a Chromebook with my tax monies, and I can't type things like ALT-0151 anymore for emdash (—) or ALT-0150 for endash (–) like on windows. Does anyone know if someone has ported or written something similar as a Chrome extension?
