I should be thankful that Aronofsky did me such a solid by making his last two movies so unenjoyable on their own merits. Unless he starts eating babies I’m still going to love “Pi” and “The Fountain,”fair warning.

To be fair, that might be the kind of show you naturally don’t announce until it’s already filmed and in the can. I remain hopeful.
I assume, in true House of Leaves style, the real story will be us following Fred Savage’s descent into possible madness as he investigates this show that may or may not be real.
I see the whole scene where they’re discussing how time travel works, and naming all the other time travel movies, as the writers pretty much telling the audience, “Look, this is going to be pretty silly, but it will be fun so just strap in and enjoy.”
I loved Endgame, I loved the last GOT episode, and I really liked the Lost finale a lot, fwiw.
I remember years ago hearing a comedian say, “Bragging you only need one hour of sleep a night is like bragging that you only need one tooth to chew: you may get the job done, but you’d look a hell of a lot better with more.”
Caffeine is thought to improve both endurance (number of miles run or cycled) and discreet performance (weight lifted)
Like a more somber David Pumpkins. I like it.
It’s like a little play, I can picture it.
I don’t agree that there’s no “character work.” I think there are plenty of fine character moments. The scene between Rocket and Thor, where Thor gets choked up explaining how he has nothing left to lose, I think that’s a great moment that shows softer sides of both characters in a way that surprises a little.
One out of three complete sentences is not bad at all, man. Kudos.
That could be metal as fuck, with some rich mythic material to work with. Sadly it’s probably some dumbass reveal about parentage, but your idea is awesome.
Must have run out of forget-me-nows.
Thing we were unhappiest to learn: The guilty players’ careers were barely affected by the scandal.
Um, what part of that doesn’t sound AWESOME, Laura?
I agree, but I don’t see a lot of scorn in the article, more good natured (I think) ribbing.
What the hell kind of face is he making in that picture? Is that a face Toejam or Earl makes during the game, or is Culkin angling for a job as the next Joker?
So, I should see this on mushrooms, right? Or...not?
I admit that I’m guilty of overhyping TGP probably. That being said, if you’re taking votes...I’m voting you watch The Good Place.
Quick correction, the game you reference above as “Wetris” is actually “Wetrix.” I had that game for N64 and loved it. Googling, it looks like there is a “Wetris,” but it’s a puzzle game app, not a falling pieces type game as far as I can tell.
