When life gives you melons...
We possibly have different definitions of “spam.” Every post I’ve made except for my initial one was a reply, mostly to people asking me questions.
Trenchant retort. I’ll remember that next time I’m tempted to take a post of yours seriously and answer it in earnest.
Sock puppet time: I didn’t answer your question “In what way way it shitty” because I’ve answered a variation on it many, many times in these comments. Feel free to comb my past dozen posts if you want an answer.
I guess you could do that, if you think it will be easier than answering the questions I actually asked you.
<Oh shut the fuck up with your talking down to me.>
Please leaf.
No, it’s an analogy. I will sock puppet for you: your argument seems to be that the action was not shitty because a negative consequence didn’t occur. I’m pointing out that the lack of a negative consequence doesn’t in and of itself mean the behavior wasn’t shitty, because there could very easily have been a negative…

To your point (a), I wonder if part of why they’re doing this is for a cash infusion to give them better odds of lasting long enough to become profitable.
Somewhat off-topic: does anybody have any idea when the current “limited time offer” is going to go away, and Moviepass lets you go back to paying monthly instead of one large annual payment? Posters on reddit were saying that they turn off the monthly option for new subscribers while they run specials like this, but…
“I can think of at least two things wrong with that title.”
So basically the gorilla channel, but with superpowers. I’m on board.

I was with my kids the first time I saw the trailer. After it was over, they looked at me expectantly, already guessing my feelings. I just looked back and said, “NO.” They smiled knowingly and turned back to the screen, because all was right with the universe.
You know, I thought that my original post was pretty innocuous. I’m genuinely surprised at the level of vitriol that it brought out.
<<Enough already.>>
<<none of it makes enough sense to be worth addressing otherwise>>
I guess reading my whole post, to comprehend why I posited something that didn’t happen so as to place it on a spectrum, would have denied you the pleasure of racking up another internet argument point. GG
