So, it’s Bojack Horseman, but with food instead of animals, and happy.

So in the original timeline, this is the thing Trump was going to start when he lost to Hillary like he intended, right?

I would contest the “very similar genre” characterization. I see what you’re saying, but faith-based Biblical schlock-fest just feels really, really different than any other genre, even when it assumes the trappings of a more typical genre exercise.

He never really overcomes it, though. He gives in every damn time, until he’s captured, enslaved, and blinded.

Unless it’s Cinnaburst gum.

I don’t care that they made him “crotchety.” I do care that they made him basically completely inconsequential. Take him out of the movie entirely, and everybody ends in in pretty much the same place they would have anyway. Lame.

Unless it’s The Last Jedi. Those dum fanbois just didn’t get it because they were so mad Luke was grumpy.

I already like this version way better than I’m going to like the inevitable trainwreck of a discussion in this thread.

Is his real name Hannibal?

By that token, any director that ever casts a white person should suffer the same outrage, because every one of them had an opportunity to cast a person of color instead.

Where you say “written” I say “retconned.” If the information were in the source material being adapted, I would completely concede your point. But judging any movie by how faithful it is to the book’s sequel can’t strike me as anything but silly.

People have a right to get upset about whatever they want, no matter how silly. But my contention is that the director didn’t ignore the source material at all. The source material he was adapting had characters who didn’t even have names, and if people of color are going to be upset that the director didn’t go

I couldn’t disagree more. I think it’s usually a ridiculously entitled fan mentality that thinks it can criticize a director for making changes to the source material itself, like a director can’t make whatever goddamn art he/she wants. To ask them to go beyond that and scour the entire canon just in case there’s some

Fair AF.

D’oh! I hope DrColossus got fired for that blunder.

I mean, if the defense here is that he knew this “article” was dumb as shit but posted it anyway with a clickbait headline, then...sure, go for it, I guess?

I know more about FNAF than I do about games that I actually like. Stupid kids.

My kids have tried to teach me. As near as I can tell, your avatar’s sole power is to either turn the lights on, or turn the lights off. I don’t get it at all, but there must be something addictive about it.
