My mom read that tweet out loud, and dad summarily threw the remote control across the room. He did, in fact, tell Puerto Ricans that it’s up to them to dig themselves out, when they don’t even have fucking POWER. Does he not realize they’re part of our country? ...oh wait, that’s a stupid fucking question.

And the fucking thing is, it HAS BEEN a community effort. With next to no outside help the last two weeks, it’s been pretty much nothing but a community effort with the people trying to help each other as best they can. But it’s freaking impossible to help someone who’s diabetic when there’s no refrigerated insulin or

“They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort.”

Beyond disgusting, yes, but there is something else he may be weaseling toward: is Trump working his way up to some kind of corrupt privatization plan or (another) round of looting by big banks in Puerto Rico? He keeps harping on “doing something” about the island’s debt and trying to portray the island’s officials

Yeah, nothing about Trump’s own actions surprise me anymore, he’s shown himself too many times for any of us to be surprised by it (appalled, sure, just not surprised). But I remain absolutely fucking baffled at how millions of Americans have accepted this and continue to accept this.

I’ve been feeling pretty depressed about the outcome of the German general election last Sunday, but then I look to the US and feel almost privileged that we get another 4 years with Merkel. She has her flaws, but good Lord, this vile orange piece of human garbage is intolerable!

Fuuuuck.

It’s not often we get a number in the Code 45* mix; this one is well used today in conveying a great deal of information in a very succinct fashion. My explanation of it will be...not like that. Quel surprise, non?

“...accounting for added interest costs. Including interest costs, the federal debt would rise by $7.2 trillion over the first decade...”

How long until Trump’s entire cabinet quits/is fired and Trump isthe only one left in the White House, where he wanders aimlessly through the echoing hallways wearing nothing but a fast food stained bathrobe, yelling at the TV?

You weren’t moved by how SATC II brought to our attention the oppression suffered by Middle Eastern women (by holding an impromptu fashion show in the middle of the movie of said oppressed women, as they’re running away from men who want to kill them?) Because I was really moved by that. Or I had a bowel movement, I

“This franchise made her and let’s be frank, it’s all she is really known for.”

I have a guilty pleasure in watching both the piece of shit movies.

Also, even nerds!

“This franchise made her and let’s be frank, it’s all she is really known for.”

Yeah, NBC has had a rocky decade with its shows. For every this is us or the office, they have 4 or five other shows that tank. And the ones that do succeed tend to flame out after a few years. They basically subsist on SVU and whatever shiny new toy that gets cancelled after year 2. The idea that they would risk

Considering Debra is a star on one of NBC’s most highly rated and beloved sitcoms, which they are rebooting with great fanfare, and Megyn Kelly is basically 0-2 on NBC, and will soon be known as “omg I totally forgot Megyn Kelly had a talk show for a couple months in 2017", I kinda doubt that anyone at NBC said
