She’s not wrong. Is Caitlyn that wed to tax cuts that she’s going to keep supporting a group that has made it clear that they don’t want her support?

Can you not right now? Texas is a purple state that goes red because it’s gerrymandered to hell and back. It’s also home to Houston, the most diverse major city in the country, which is also getting hit the hardest.
You’d think all the money Texas saves by banning abortions, keep transsexuals out of bathrooms, and making sure you can walk into TGIFridays with you AR-15, they would have enough money to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
Ending a streak of thin electoral margins, Harris County — the biggest battleground in ruby red Texas with a population larger than 25 other states — turned solidly blue on Tuesday with the largest presidential margin of victory in more than a decade.
don’t tar us all with the bad acts of our state leaders. we’re trying to vote them out and thwart their actions.
Texas, a Trump state, a state that denies global warming, most awesome of all: a state whose officials wanted to deny relief to victims of Hurricane Sandy. Now would be a good time to invite them to secede.
“FEMA’s going to be there for years” FEMA director Brock Long told CNN this morning.
When they were kids, if one of my sons had needed glasses, my reaction would’ve been more along the lines of, “Well shit I wonder how many times I gonna have to replace these before he gets a full time job of his own.”
That bugged me too. My work is with children ages birth-five who have special needs, and I would really like Gwen to be quiet about the hardship of raising a kid who wears glasses.
Yeah, wtf was that? I use glasses (well actually contacts these days), and I have since I was little. It’s mildly inconvenient, not heartbreaking.
From the Royal baby article:
On the plus side, he also fired Seb Gorka.
Some light digging on FB unearthed a former acquaintance of this coach who was accusing him of stealing from and ripping off former gymnastics facilities, families, and students.
If you spend some time reading internet comments like I did this evening, you’ll learn that “this is totally normal” and that “I had to do it in cheer/gymnastics/ballet and I turned out fine” and also “if she couldn’t perform splits why did she even try out for cheerleading?”
Well if they didn’t want to be cut from the team they should have just done those splits.
I pulled my kids from gymnastics because the coaches behaved this way and most of the other parents completely supported it. When I tried to intervene once when they were making my kid do something way more advanced than she was ready for - they said I could stand outside if I had a problem with it. Uh no. We didn’t…
“Had to see and hear... this over and over” is an extremely poor choice of words. How about “chose to abuse the teen girls under his care repeatedly while the abuse was being filmed.”
There have been so many horrible stories lately about kids being abused by coaches or teammates, I am starting to think I should never let my child play sports.
