I’m all for taking this guy’s scores away — except for one: didn’t he DISCOVER the kill screen in Pac-Man? Like, the creators of the game didn’t even know about it until Mitchell became the first to score a perfect game? I don’t think that could be faked, in which case its legitimate video game history and should

The soldier is expressing his personal taste for the Queen’s appearance. He isn’t shaming her. For her to feel shame she would have to actually hear him and know he felt that way, AND it would have to be her fault she was fat (which it wasn’t, there was magic shenanigans at play). So there was zero body-shame involved

Being healthy is objectively better than being obese. Not an opinion, objectively better. Nobody should be mean to a fat person because of their weight, but let’s not pretend “healthy” isn’t far more attractive than “unhealthy” for very valid reasons.

So now GAMERS are trying to say “violent video games” cause real life violence??

I don’t see why that would get you fired. Nothing wrong there except maybe using the word bitch, if its the kind of job where that language isn’t ok while at work.

In an MMO, your subscription fee entitles you to ACCESS to playing the game. That’s it. No one is entitled to any house, mount, armor, or anything else. If you are able to log in and play, you have received everything you paid for.

Looks cool. I don’t think I’d call this an “arcade shooter” though.

No it doesn’t.

DLC should never be encouraged. It’s a deplorable money-grab business practice.

Personally, I’m excited for a console that uses game cartridges again. Discs are inferior in every way (except storage capacity, until recently).

Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job....

SERIOUSLY!

I think Lozzle was probably being sarcastic. A lot of people like to act like WoW was the first MMO or that it was the only successful one.

Ok, terrible is far too strong a word for Mighty No. 9.

I wish you would have recognized this as a part of Internet culture rather than just gaming culture. Because that’s what it is, really.

People take this game WAAY too seriously

This was my first reaction too. He looks great, but I really wish his tunic was green.

Yes. Yes it should.

How does it stop them from having fun? They run over (they shouldnt be running blindly anyway) and realize there’s no Dragonite, then they resume what they were doing. Oh no, they’ve wasted 10 seconds...

Never, because they aren’t remotely the same thing. A rare pokemon poses no danger to anyone, unlike a bomb or fire. If people charge around like crazy persons when they hear a pokemon name, THEY are the ones at fault for acting irresponsibly. A reasonable person would run from a bomb, it is not reasonable to run
