I’m not a lawyer either but work in M&A and the fact that they didn’t have a partnership agreement that gave each partner first right of refusal if one wanted to sell is almost comically amateurish. I’ve literally never seen that, including among family members.  You lay that shit out while everyone is getting along

I think so many people fallen in love with the idea of Snow being on the throne that they were upset it didn’t happen. Personally I thought it should have ended with Sam sitting on the throne myself.

Sure, Gene.

You can make an argument for TNG but Voyager, really?

I’m a much bigger Star Trek fan than Star Wars, but Roddenberry was problematic as hell and shouldn’t be remembered half as fondly as he is.

People seem to forget that Roddenberry was quite a horndog. Might be why he hired Rick Berman, lol

that includes crew members not making out with each other

I love Star Trek but it feels like every time I read about one of Roddenberry’s rules or complaints about TNG they’re dumb as hell.

I’ve read the books and ‘funny’ is exactly the last thing I’d describe them. The books’ tone is unrelentingly somber (but NOT dour!). They fired Jonathan Majors literally hours after his conviction. They remained mum until that morality clause could kick in.

Because that’s the name of the game, even if they won’t outright admit it.

In a perfect world for right-wingers, there’s an elite that the law protects, but does not bind. And for everyone else, the law binds them but does not protect them. The hypocrisy is the point.

Yeah, it’s almost like Israel’s actions don’t make antisemitism okay, amirite?

that’s the thing, they don’t see it that way, to people like her, everyone else is the fascist empire and she’s the poor rebel trying to put up a good fight.

Correction: You really liked “beep” in Haywire.

Her not getting it, is par for the course of everyone she allies herself with. They pride themselves on not getting it.

Hell, it’s even simpler than that! Her employer reportedly told her to cut the shit - multiple times - and she decided that preferred pronouns and “this was just like the Nazis” were hills to die on.
