Break out the Deadpool themed air fresheners!

First off, what I said was “every single one of them has been an unquestionable success, both in terms of Box office, audience reception, and general quality.” So i think you misread what I wrote there.

Yeah the whole thing is just:

Is it though? A mess I mean?

Dont be silly, it has been 8 years.  No one can survive in the trunk of a car that long!

No what I am trying to get out of any of you are SPECIFIC ways to make THIS IP smart.

Ok if Disney doesnt turn that idea into a Web Series with both of them in character just getting into short misadventures (5-10mins tops) as they criss cross the country seeign weird roadside attractions, xmen characters and other d list super heroes, accidentally foiling plots of shadowy marvel organizations, and

Transformers: cinema score A

I think it is very interesting that every time I ask “How could we take this IP and make it “smart”” no one can give me an answer.

People saw them in DROVES, so apparently they didnt care if they were good, or if they had believable human characters they could care about or root for.

I agree that Bumblebee is the best of them due 100% to its characters, but is it Smart?   Not really.

That would be nearly an entirely different story than the actual Dune:Messiah!

But is it possible with THIS franchise?

It might be a tough sell to Hollywood. Every single white American in it is a bad guy, while the good guys are black men and Brits.”

It does a much better job of setting up the events of a Messiah adaptation.”

Never heard of Bamber Bridge at all.  Sounds like it would make a great movie!

AS far as #3 goes: those characters are pretty bad, but really dont compete with the big boys of Racist Chidrens movies like Song of the South, Dumbo or even Peter Pan. What IS amazing is that they are so recent! All the above, and the WB ones like Speedy Gonzales etc . . , are like 50+ years old. Revenge of the

Wrong Franchise!

These movies are a great example of an IP that understood that its fanbase was really really niche, and that to be really successful it really needed to ignore them and deliver a sci fi action spectacle that would give the fans just enough, while really focusing on what the average movie goers want: Big Stupid Fun.

They were Lying?
