*pssst* The “sense of normalcy” he wants to return to is when white people small town folk could effectively terrorize black people the opposition into submission.
The neon logo was an abomination.
Past Nastification
How do you “disagree” with the existence of a person?
Are you saying Kid Rock didn’t grow up on a Southern farm, tippin’ cows and living the real American life?
Jason Aldean was raised in Macon, Georgia, and spent summers with his dad in the Miami suburbs. Dipshit knows nothing about living in a small town.
It was “above any differences” so long as the “different” people hid their differences enough for bigots to ignore them.
Fry’s brain thing that made him immune to mind control probably makes it okay for him to binge every TV show ever made at once. Although I have to say that I prefer the weekly release model so I would not personally recommend that
Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences.
Sigh. Diamond logo.
I mostly checked out of Doctor Who (would leave it on in the background) during the Capaldi era. I completely stopped watching halfway into season 1 of the Chinball era.
I’m also not sure why Batman didn’t just blame the Joker for Harvey’s death.
I remember going to see The Dark Knight on opening day with a packed crowd. So we’re at the truck chase scene. It’s exciting. Everybody in the audience is on the edge of their seat. According to Wikipedia, this was all confirmed when it was announced at the end of 2020, even before they changed the name from Captain Marvel 2 to The Marvels a few months later. But apparently Feige already had the sequel mapped out around the time of the first film’s release two years earlier, so it makes sense…
Hey, you know what also came out on July 18, right?
I completely believe they had at least the basic premise lined up a long time ago. They’ve been pretty honest that once Iron Man took off, they started thinking big and you only have to look at how Star Wars (D+ shows) or the DCEU has been mishandled to see that big-picture, MCU had a plan besides MAKE MOHR MOVEES!
People absolutely went weeks without seeing them. I know, I was there.
For better or worse, its “proper” ratio is 4:3. (Which is not the same thing as Pan and Scan). As stated elsewhere it as filmed in a wider ratio simply because that how most available film stock was produced, not because it was ever intended to be seen that way. If they did remaster the show using the wider film…
