Well, there was that comic series a few years back about Skeletor’s tragic Anakin Skywalker-style origins. Turns out he was Prince Adam’s emo half-uncle (or second cousin?) who had his pretty face melted off in a freak accident. I think. I’d been trying to repress it all these years.

Except all the women who’ve been shown to be Hulks have met the same cheesecake requirements of all female superheroes. While every dude Hulk (except for Cho) has been a monster. It’s like how male skrulls are ugly but female skrulls just look like hot human women with weird chins. That’s just just straight up male

He-Man doesn’t have a bowl cut. It’s really more like a bob with bangs. This is a bowl cut.

The idea that it’s clearly a male fantasy that woman who becomes a Hulk remains traditionally attractive while the men all become hideous beasts is sound (I’d love to see Peter David explore the idea that what you become reflects how you see yourself or how you want to be)...but that’s just lost in so much “I’m Gonna

Sorry, I’m clearly a little new to Photoshop, and everything I do looks like it was created in the late 1970s by a comic book artist.

What happen to his armor and headpiece? Forgot to put them on when he woke up? It’s not like he didn’t have it in the teasers, because he did:

His chin isn’t shaped like a beard.

this is canon now

I think the disgust radiating from Iris and Barry is much more palpable in this one:

Oh and the mayor of the other town is also your best man but then he decides that’s not good enough for him and he needs to be a groom too? You know, as one does...

Who, Me?!

You know that feeling when you’re getting married and the mayor of another town decides that he’s also going to get married during your ceremony?

When I was watching it I took the look Barry is giving Ollie in the top pic as meaning “Really, seriously dude?”

When someone claims to be keeping abreast of the best comics running right now, but haven’t read Saga yet...

Who would you like to see as Wonder Woman’s person-of-interest?

“It’s really still going to other values of hers, and a similar formula insofar as making a great, enjoyable fun movie but that ultimately in its third act turns some very big issues, and a very big experience that will aim to have slightly more weight and profundity than it has to have.”

It’s all a performance designed to be self-aggrandising (though, to be fair, so is so much of what we do is performative without realising it). It’s very “look how good my tastes are, aren’t I great?” but couched in a thin veneer of “it’s just my opinion, man...”

I can’t wait for the threads touting those series, so I can swoop in and talk about how uninteresting they are to me.

Y’know, I don’t really get these types of posts. Obviously you cared enough about this to click on it, watch it and then comment on it.
