Yeah that artwork is not at all flattering, and really looks nothing like him in the film.

I would say that was true of Blue Beetle and the Marvels, for sure. Both were fine, but not exceptional in any way.

He has a lot of very good Star trek episodes under his belt though.

Irulan is basically a walking info dump in the book, which was attempted to be replicated by Lynch in his movie and was savagely criticized by the press and poorly recieved by audiences.
