If you ignore the Prequel era you get no Ahsoka, no clone Wars cartoons, no Rebels.

I mean, they are doing that too?   Isnt that the Dawn of the Jedi movie Mangold is working on?

The sequels are definitely flawed in a different way, but lets not forget that they start with a movie about a trade dispute and galactic politics. Not a great foundation for a story.

7 was the best of them, imho, but only if you view it through the lense of the only job it needed to do was to feel “like Star Wars”. But it wasnt great, it was way heavy on nostalgia and felt like it was stitched together from spare parts from the first 2 movies (ANH and ESB).

Well, the sequels WERE made and though they all kinda sucked for various reasons, what exactly is Star Wars to do?

I am not sure how many of these count as snubs.   Most of them do not.

No one can agree if it is good or bad though.

If you do that you have to blame them too . . .

The point is that even Lucas, they guy who invented Star Wars and made the 3 movies that preceeded Kennedy, did terribly after those first three movies. So clamining that Kennedy ruined star wars is a bad faith argument because it ignores half of the original output, and all of the immediate ouput that preceeded her.

And he works for who? Oh yeah! Kennedy! The person who gave him the job and enabled him to make the character! Which is her job.
