“Are you my Mummy?”

In hindsight, his crap episodes were often better than the good episodes of the last 2 Doctors.  YMMV of course.

The goal of using Tennant, the most loved doctor of the modern era, and Donna, for many his quintessential companion, feels a little bit like a calculated reset, to be honest, whose goal is to get EVERYONE watching again in anticipation of the new season.

It does have familiar foes, but they’re not legends like the Daleks or Cybermen, or even old anniversary threats like Omega: they’re deep cut pullbacks from across Doctor Who history like the Meep from classic comics, and the Toymaker from William Hartnell’s era, re-imagined and evolved for the modern age.”

This isnt school, and that scale doesnt apply here. Go look at the list of movies I posted that currently have 7/10 on IMDB and tell me those are bad movies. They arent.

Are you kidding? This is hilarious. One guy is acting like making the argument that a 7/10 is bad because it means you only have 3 wheels on your car is a totally normal, logical argument!

You keep trying to say you are being reasonable and yet in EVERY comment that disagrees with you your response is “ then having a boring child whose parents didn’t love him enough interrupt after seeing” is this kind of stuff which completely undermines all of your credibility.

I was really hoping for a 9.74, but I will have to strive harder!

Yes but they set those numbers REALLY low, even for an R rated movie.

Yeah you made me wonder if they hadn’t, which would have been awfully sad, and luckily I found a set pic to prove they filmed together.

It’s because of how we grade in school in America. The took the A through F letter grades and mapped them over to a % system, so that A is 90-100, B is 80-90, and C is 70 to 80. But the letter grade system is really a 5 point system, so it should be each grade is 20%, but it is designed to make kids to fail at Average

That doesnt sound right . . .

I think when you watch it on streaming you are going to be shocked at how good all 3 actresses are in it, especially Vellani as Ms Marvel. No real sign of the lifelessness that was Delevigne in Valerian.

Here is a source about collecting opion data. https://www.zonkafeedback.com/blog/collecting-feedback-with-1-to-10-opinion-survey-scale#:~:text=In%20a%201%20to%2010,illustrates%20the%20most%20negative%20experience.

Oh so you have bad taste AND you dont understand how the 10 point scale works regarding movies.

Now playing

There is a behind the scenes video, but dont think it covers that part

Yeah I think they very much wanted to ahve their cake and eat it too, and then are shocked when people are mildly put out that the hype exceeded the reality (at least in regards to it being something “special”).

What does that have to do with anything? You said that 7/10 wasnt a good movie. I am showing you movies that all got that rating, all of which are generally considered good movies.

Wow what a substantive response. Really well thought out and well reasoned!

Probably because they didnt really do much of anything for the actual anniversary? A colorized rerun and a rerun that has 15 seconds changed are not all that much, though they are cool for die hards.
