Perhaps the problem was that viewers were expecting an Anniversary special and what they got was a very good episode with nothing particularly “special” about it?

Oh the studios plan regarding the strikes was cartoonishly short sighted, and every bad decision they made reeked of arrogance and lost them more and more money than simply paying the strikers more. One would hope they learned from it, but we all know they didnt.

But not the one who dropped the ball in that actual production increase. I guess it really depends on if you think it is just the quantity of the movies causing fatigue or if the quality of the movies is the actual issue. 

I dont think you can do a 1:1 Box Office comparison like that in the pandemic.

I didnt watch the Benedict one, but Willow got cancelled because it wasnt very good.
