Well he is likely to make a bunch of these, given that this was supposed to be one movie and now is too, so we might actually get to compare the 9th movie in each series!

Ditto.
They have been very good in a number of roles. His take on Barry Allen/The Flash is not one of them though, so that plus all his shitty real life issues definitely gives one pause.
Army of the Dead wasnt particularly coloroful to my memory, or to a quick google search.
Does Huxley ever discuss why he took that for the title? I dont think I ever got around to reading BNWR.
But in no way is Brave New World a “controversial name” like the above commentor says, whereas New World Order very much is.
You have to almost admire his pluck in trying to convince people that his ideas are 100% New and Different when they clearly are mostly neither.
Irony then?
I’ll take “What if Star Wars was all a drab grey brown color pallate for 2000, Alex!”
Well, the line in the Tempest is largely read as sarcasm, but yeah, a straight reading of it surely fits.
Depending on the Plot, both of them might. Marvel has had a good number of “Hidden Society sectretly controls it all!” plots already!
Really? I have never, ever heard that.
Flash is looking pretty soft projection wise, around 75M.(2 points of context: Black Adam opened with 67m, so thats not good. But Aquaman Did as well, and overseas lifted that one to 1bn, so who the heck knows.)
Well my point was more that ALL of that good press basically didnt move the needle on the opening weekend expectations and ticket sales basically at all. It is still sitting right near where Black Adam launched.
It is interesting to note that those projections are AFTER all the good press, with people saying things like its the best super hero movie ever, and Tom Cruise gushing over it, etc . . .
Projections for opening weekend were pretty meager for a major studio blockbuster release (and budget.) https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/flash-clocks-75-million-plus-194657388.html
This was 100% my problem with Steve’s position in Civil War, really.
I think that idea died with Halloween 3 . . .
But they wont. We all know they wont.
Seems very hand wavy, tbh, but sure.
