The only thing I can think of is that one of them got rescued . . . but that body is no longer required so is discarded.

The first movie was 100% “Make something that feels Star Warsy so we can get this franchise back to making all the money”.

Yeah I was aware of them, like knew they existed, but couldnt have told you much more than that. I knew the show was very well liked by most everyone.

These guys were REALLY banking on Cocaine Bear being a bigger hit . . .

Thanks, but . . yikes.

And always remember, the guy saying “Kill the Past” starts with . . . stabbing his Hero Dad in the chest!

But . .  but . . .  they are both the same robots made from the same parts, arent they?

Robert Egger’s Nosferatu

Talk about burying the lede!

I thought it was a Frozen spin off for D+ at first.

I 100% read that as “As soon as I saw Marshmellow starred Corbin Dallas I was out.”

It is because they think the name Optimus Primal is a cool take on Optimus Prime.

Yeah, well that is a major Star Wars problem, isnt it?

Having your movie be all about “Killing the Past” and “Leaving it behind” and then having the main character leave with all the lore books of the past they are supposedly killing was the ultimate failure of the movie, imho.

The first Codex Alera was, for me, WAY better than the Aeronaut’s Windlass.

Yeah, but the Aeronaut’s Windlass was writen when he was on his 14th Dresden book, so its definitely not that.

Yeah it wasnt really that I “lost the plot” or anything like that.  Just that I wasnt really paying much attention to what was coming out from Butcher by the time the next book came out.

Yeah didnt even know that.

I’ve fallen off the wagon on his Dresden stuff, too, but that is mostly because of the six year gap between books 15 (2014) and 16 (2020).

It just wasnt very good.
