Thanks — That was excellent!

YES! That was great!

You’re right!

Love the irony of combat-focused fake news linked at the bottom of this very post.

When it showed up at Watkins Glen the other teams said, “It looks like the box it came in,” which I thought was a pretty good line.

I totally thought it was a cake when this popped up on Twitter!

What is this, an R18 for ants?

Please give us more stories of super-rich-people-who-get-everything-they-ever-wanted being denied things. Please?

I think the joystick thing is wayyyy better than the touchpad that’s in a lot of other Lexus vehicles! The joystick is easier to operate without having to look at it, whereas the tiny touchpad is hopeless and requires twice as much concentration.

And it works both ways — believe it or not, this costs more than $7,500!

The chassis of this car dates back to 1996.

The One-77 was totally different, it had a carbon fiber monocoque chassis made by Multimatic. But yeah, the rest is true

Did Saleen have a hand in the development of the Ford GT? I thought it was just painting/assembly-related but could be wrong.

I skimmed this as “the length dimensions on Google Earth,” I laughed

This is the best answer. I am the only one among my friends who will defend the Veyron. What’s fascinating is that in the years since, there have been many, many supercars/hypercars (these days, you can’t go broke appealing only to the super rich!), but not a single one has copied the approach of the Veyron: a luxury

For years I always thought the Zonda was almost there, visually. “Once they get a little more established, they can do stuff like integrated headlights and source less aftermarket-ey polished wheels, etc.”

Glorious

Guess we’ll have to make due with only 25 options of mediocre GM crossovers/SUVs

I’m kind of talking out of my ass, but these AWD + V8 versions don’t appeal to me as much as the V6, and the rift from the 380hp V6 S and the 550hp V8 R seems too huge. If the V6 S came in at around 430-450hp, I think that would hit the sweet spot for a lot of people.

Driving on ice in a Nismo 370Z with summer tires (OEM Bridgestone Potenza 001), from North Texas (outside Denton) to Buffalo, TX before the ice melted. It was the most stressful drive of my life, basically 5-6 hours of bumper-to-bumper, white knuckle, 10mph driving and trying not to slip while braking or accelerating.
