To be fair, those aftermarket wheels are a crushable offense

Where can I buy a road with a corner in it for under $60k?
The problem isn’t too 90s, it’s just too cheap. The proportion, the features, everything is off, because it was made on a strict budget to be only as good as it had to be.
Disagree, this looked exotic. This is what the SN95 could have looked like with out lots and lots and lots and lots of cost cutting.
No. Fuck these cars.
A Holden Maloo in Yucca Valley, CA.
Because Bruce Meyer willed it to happen
Charles’s Nearburg Collection (the whole room is, as is the silver McLaren F1). He’s a board member
Great story Blake! One of the most interesting parts to me was the use of projections and dimming the lights to turn the cars themselves into canvases of light and reflections. Every five or six minutes, the main lights would come on so you could get a bright photo, and then it would revert back to this dazzling…
When I was buying a parking pass, they were all sold out, so I had to go to Stubhub. Parking by the main grandstand was listed there (from a reseller) for $800. For parking. (Who knows if they sold it at that price...)
Good to know! And yeah, I’ve brought in plenty of Clif bars too :D
No, I’m 99% sure that’s not allowed, because they don’t even allow bottles of water to be brought in, presumably to prevent people from sneaking alcohol in. On another note, I really want to make it out to Montreal for the GP now!
Holy shit. COTA wouldn’t refund parking even though they failed to deliver on something that you paid a premium for, and you were forced to seek alternatives? I’d be tempted to dispute that charge with my credit card; I’m not sure if that’s really the right course of action but, like, I would not pay it. I don’t…
Thanks for the inside info, Jim! I paid $150 for parking through StubHub and got refunded (thankfully). I parked in Lot Q on Saturday nearby and at a private lot across the street on Sunday for $100.
My complaints with the 2015 USGP, from a fan who’s been to at least ten events at COTA. Some of these are probably totally irrational, but I have this contentious feeling about the weekend, and writing down these ‘wrongs’ helps me sort out which are legitimate and which aren’t.
I wonder if the result would be different if they tried today?
Or I just assume Lockheed will buyout/”merge with” Northrop Grumman.
I don’t know if you’re sarcastic or not, but the 550 was beautiful and the 599 is wretchedly ugly. The 550 is even more striking today (in person), because the low beltline and super low, expansive hood look shocking compared to everything on sale today. Look at the height difference!
Ferrari 599. The ugliest Ferrari in decades has a face that looks like a scull with eyes.
Why is the car smoking from some heated acceleration bursts? The behavior is obviously reprehensible on the street, but as far as the engine is concerned, it seem less abusive than a day at the track. Plus the clutch(es) aren’t operated by the driver, so we’re likely not seeing burning clutch.
