Korean would have made more sense for a common point of language since many of the existing teams had people in the OGN Overwatch League (including lots of Europeans) and lived in Korea for a while before Blizzard forced them to disband. Forcing them to start over with a new language just made it worse and forced them

Then it’s not really a DLC because it doesn’t require the original game to work.

But it could have been a standalone as well like Infamous: Festival of Blood. It didn’t really need to be DLC

DLC as a whole sucks, not just map packs. The worst part is that you’re pretty much guaranteed to have additional microtransactions already, but these games are doubling down by not only increasing the price of their games to $100 as it is, but adding microtransactions in addition to that to make it even worse.

I’m just disappointed that they’re going back to World War 2 for fifth or sixth time. It’s the one war I think has really been overdone. I really enjoy their other WW2 setting games and really hoped they would do more like that.

I would say there’s a good chance that they don’t have to pay royalties to the contributor while they have to do it for the paid artist.

Gamers don’t want multiplayer C&C. They wanted a C&C with a campaign and silly actors.

Somehow, it just felt like a Destiny clone. I doubt it will avoid the same pitfalls that Destiny fell into since its EA.

I have to agree. More options is almost always better. Bad optimization is pretty much present in all games nowadays. There’s no reason for them to optimize the game anymore since they can throw as much crap as they want into your hard drive now.

It would also open up the game to making tons of “useless” cards like many CCGs/TCGs have.

Charging $70 for a season pass is going to mean that players are going to expect a lot more. For $70, that is the price of a full game and that means that people are going to expect a full game’s worth of content.

I doubt fighting games will be able to make a recovery any time soon. Fighting games are the worst in terms of DLC and that has stuck to them since the PS3 era. With what Cross Tag is doing now, it is only reinforcing that belief, not fixing it with a lower price tag.

Blake is only available as an opponent in story mode unless you purchase the DLC. Yang is also in the story, but not as a character yet.

I would say this is a welcome change. Stream sniping happens in a lot of games and they use the information provided to them from viewing that person’s stream to try to cheat. By swapping out names, it makes it harder for you to know who you are playing against and makes it more difficult to stream snipe.

I would argue that a once into a permaban system prevents the opportunity for the person to reform. Instead, it would just make them even more pissy about it. A series of escalating punishments would definitely be better, making sure that they know why they are being punished (something most online games fail to do

It’s hard to understand that the United States suddenly decided to care about a video game when they decided not to care about 20 first grade kids being shot. When the country decided to not only make it easier for people to acquire guns but allow the news to not only make fun of the victims but to decry it as a fake

About a week ago, some bikers and hikers were attacked. It’s not abnormal.

This presents an interesting double standard. I would argue that if Sarah Palin’s crosshair ad with Gabrielle Giffords was considered okay to be used after Giffords was shot (remember, the crosshair map was later on proved to be not responsible for the shooting), there should be no problem with this game.

I would argue its no more disturbing than a game of Evolve where you can play a monster whose goal is to kill all of the hunters. The only difference here is the setting, but I would argue that doesn’t make much of a difference.

Here’s a solution, just take it out. People leave the game halfway through it anyways.
