The concept of the multiverse also raises the possibility of these not being the versions of their characters we’re mostly familiar with. Thus, they might as well be legos. This presumably exists in the same multiverse as toons do, which someone pointed out are considered immortals. So it’s not a stretch to assume all

Really nothing negates criticism, as everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thus my own criticism, to the criticism, is just as valid.

You’re right! However, I think they can all, in this situation, be considered ‘toons’, thus all immortals, and thus, there is no high stakes in these fights. Like, I’m pretty sure there aren’t any fatalities, and while I’m not %100 on the game play, it might be similar to smash where the goal is to throw the opponent

I don’t think this game should be taken that seriously. It’s basically Smash Bros, wherein that it should be viewed more like action figures being mashed together by a child to make them ‘fight’. None of it is canon, and even if there was a canon it should probably be viewed more as the characters having a play fight

There are a ton of Zelda knocks offs, I don’t understand why people are acting like this is a new thing.
I mean, look at Genshin Impact, that game is insanely popular, and it was basically a anime knock off of Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild, in fact, was copied a lot, and by AAA developers no less, not just

The writers of Kotaku aren’t a hive mind. They don’t, and shouldn’t all have the same opinion just because they write for the same site. In fact, I’d argue it’s pretty important for a site to feature differing opinions on subjects, instead of echoing the same thing.

I don’t really get what all the offense for this is about... Like, I get that it’s kinda a cold and calculating way to break down diversity, but.... Diversity is good? Is it not nice that they’re trying? Would it be better if they just ignored diversity all together, and made every video game character a straight

The article did mention EA isn’t losing access to their roster. So I’m guessing they already have that locked down. So it really seems like FIFA is the one losing the most out of this. EA probably just has has mountain of paper work for their legal department to deal with. While FIFA has to convince a new studio to

Im gonna start by saying I’ve never played FIFA, and don’t care for sports. That being said, FIFA just licenses out the name, and doesn’t actually do anything to make the games, right? Which makes their words sound a bit cocky. And while I’m not really a huge EA fan, they have a massive amount of resources to put into

It was really shocking to me when I found out FF14 didn’t have mods. Having just switched to the game from WoW. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it. On one hand, I understand why they aren’t there. On the other hand, there is some clunkiness with the UI I don’t like, and some things I wish I could customize that

I’ll keep my hopes up that future stuff is better, but I do feel that this was not worth a $10 base price. I know there has been expansions of similar price and size in the past, but I don’t think those were worth it either. And starting things out with something like this seems like a huge misstep.

This is so strange. Why not just make in animated? The Tell Tales game, and Minecraft dungeons already shows you can attach a kid friendly narrative to the game.

Im rocking Stabbomancer and Brr-zerker. I use the stealth action skill, and go down the Brr-zerker tree to the last skill the extends action skills with each kill. Than I use the op gun that never has to reload so long as you keep critting. I maxed out strength so my crits do massive damage. And absolutely demolish

Oooh, this looks perfect for my build as a Stabomencer/Brr-Serker. The amount of damage I’d do while Invisible+raging.

I don’t know why you would? Just finish the game. When you reach level cap, you start getting Myth Levels. And after you beat the game you unlock a sort of random dungeon type mode.

Sorry, they mentioned Aldi, not Walmart. And I guess price wasn’t mentioned, though I could have sworn it was, that’s my mistake. But Aldi and Walmart, about the same thing. Point was still made that they look like budget shoes, and I was confirming that, yes, they look exactly like Budget shoes I bought at Walmart.

Maaaybe, but I just know I look at these and see those cheap shoes in my closet. I should note, I don’t think those shoes are necessarily bad. I think the inside of them is fairly comfortable too. But I can’t help but think that they took those exact same shoes, changed the color, and added an extra $100 for the color

I respectfully disagree (That $115 isn’t that much), but it’s your money, spend it as you will.

The article literally says that you can buy shoes like this at walmart for $15, it’s not my fault no one actually read it.

And I mean, I have worn shoes that looked exactly like those, but black, and I got them for like $15. I think for $115 they can at least make the shoe out of something other than extremely flimsy cloth.
