It’s probably because I am running it on a very old xbox, that frankly I put away in my closet and forgot about until now for a reason. And the black screen I’m running into on my PC is actually a pretty common one, that the developers are aware of.

They have stated they are working on fixing this, and cross play on steam, and larger server capacity on console/Game Pass will come in the future.

I think the key part of this is that the Alpha only showed the “Early Sections” of the game, and I’m guessing didn’t feature live service bullshit. The game might have a fun opening but does not get any better.
