Seriously. Do people not even play games anymore or are they just another way to brag vis-a-vis other people and false senses of superiority?

When a company’s PR spin intentionally taps into that whose fault is the anger?

And that’s the overlap into the “change this now!” community.

No.

But in the end you may end up having fun. Remember when games were fun?

This needs to be at the front of every comment section ever:

Oh, I absolutely believe people have a reason to be upset. That reason is that third-party datamined ease-of-use apps (I hesitate to say “QoL”) were deemed outside of the desired scope of the game by the devs.

I still don’t really “get it”.

To be honest, these days I cheer when a dev house makes a decision based on their own integrity even if it is unpopular in the marketplace. I’m just, myself, so sick of companies being held ransom by their “fanbase” who constantly demand subjectively beneficial treatment and systems.

Sell what? a free app?

It is a third party program based off of datamining.

Then finding Pokemon is a chore. That’s just the way of it.

So, if the game isn’t fun anymore without a cheat why keep playing?

I absolutely agree with this. In a similar way, it feels like how excessive data-mining and metagaming had a negative effect on my enjoyment of many MMOs.

Right. Because that isn’t a sign pointing for them to join the Trump campaign.

Even worse when the general conventions are reversed for your relationship...

I need a ring... but not a ring that costs as much as half our earnings for the year.

But... but...!

So that makes Bill Clinton, what exactly?

Those houses are also on the “kinda kiddy porn” side of things, too.
