They’re specifically targeted at millennials (i.e. their serums are mean for people who are just getting into skincare, etc.), which might be why. I think that their staple products, like their lipstick and Boy Brow, would work for any age, though.

Yeah, it is helpful. I wish other online beauty retailers would pick up on this, because it’s always hard to guess which color is going to work for you when you’re staring a screen.

Going to have to disagree with the snark here. I’m very, very happy to see a female-led beauty startup achieve the crazy levels of funding and success that they have. So many of the power-players in this industry are men giving their best approximation of “what women want” (which for so long appeared to be heavily

I think that Adidas bankrolls his line, as a part of his shoe partnership with them.

Oh he is soooooo not worth it if he lets his family treat you like that.

Yeah, I’m all for being anti-fairy tale endings, but I think that based on reports, it’s not the institution of marriage she has issues with...

Late reply, but yes, it gets better. It took three separate experiments with prescriptions before my doctor finally landed on something that made my breakouts go away (spironolactone).

Hey, it’s almost like we don’t need someone to run the government like a business! Because the government is not a business! It doesn’t exist to make a profit! It exists to uphold their part of the social contract!

I think that it’s harder than just walking away or even breaking a contract. I work in partnerships - you invest a ton of time and energy into something, and you get to know the team that you are working with very closely. You see the effort that is put into your project. You build relationships, and that can be hard

Update: retrieved bagel.

Noooooo :(

Crazy! Nothing better than the Promenade, no matter what the weather :)

I understand. This morning was like YESSS EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED OFFICE CLOSED, and now I am walking in circles in my apartment, going stir-crazy. Like do I want a bagel enough to brave the wind smacking snow into my face? (I might.)

Was once attacked my a squirrel on one of those benches. It wanted my bagel.

No, that’s what NYC’s real estate developers do. I think that you would find that its people are a bit different.

She would not be the first Middle Easterner to toe a delicate political line while interacting with the West.

While I’m personally not the biggest fan of the counter, it does make me sad that we are sacrificing brand reps who are incredibly well trained on the products that they carry. It used to be that if you wanted an executive job at L’Oreal, Lauder, etc., you started at the counter. That’s obviously changing.

They did a good job with the 34th Street store renovation as well, but I think that the stores that have fallen by the wayside (which are all of the ones I’ve been to in NY’s suburbs, and other parts of NYC) are bringing the entire chain down. They’re also redoing the store near me in Brooklyn, so interested to see

This, 100%.

That’s not my personal opinion, unfortunately. I work in beauty and know the numbers. The makeup counter is not doing well, and you’re now seeing a lot of department stores renovating to look more like a Sephora than a traditional counter. Sephora does not have discounts like that because they don’t need to - it’s
