Yikes. I would be sad to see it go, as a New Yorker who would rather walk on shattered glass than step foot in there but who appreciates it as an icon of our city.

Yep. I have a friend who broke multiple bones when one flipped (she would have died had she not worn a helmet), and a friend of a friend who did tragically die in one.

Late-ish reply, but just wanted to commiserate. Those couple of months-long relationships can be doozies, because they go on long enough so that you’re like hey, this actually is something! And you’re still happy and excited about it. And then they end abruptly. I’ve been reeling from one for a few months, and it’s

I used Curology for awhile, for acne, and did not have a great experience. I think that it’s a good idea for mild skin conditions, but I was dealing with serious cystic issues that they did not help me with. I voiced ever-rising concerns with them multiple times (I used them for about a five-month period) and kept

It took me forever to figure out who she was! I spent a few episodes being like she’s kinda familiar, no?

I have not, but a quick Google search is telling me to get on that, STAT.

It’s on my list!!

I know, it’s crazy. Also pretty remarkable, because he was still a dark horse when that episode was written.

I’ve been all-in on CW shows lately. Vampire Diaries, Reign, rewatching GG. They’re basically perfect if you, like me, need to remove yourself from our shitty reality for a few hours a day to remain sane.

Yep :/.

Yes, on his way up to the GW to get to Teterboro.

Don’t be silly, he’s not that dumb. He knows that Frederick Douglass is the name of that street in Harlem. It’s been getting a lot more attention now that those uptown real estate prices are soaring!

Mentioned this in another comment, but I think that they way that they ended it helps make it seem less naive and bright-eyed. It doesn’t have the earnest, uncomplicated ending that we associate with classic musicals, which helps keep it above pure cheese.

It borders on cheesy, but the latter half of the movie is cynical enough that it prevents it from being saccharine. It made me think for a few hours after before I could figure out how I felt about the ending.

I’m pretty sure he is just straight-up power-hungry. You can see it in a lot of his previous actions pre-Trump presidency - the idiotic purchase of 666 Fifth Avenue (the number will never not be ironic), buying the NY Observer for no reason but to gain cultural clout, etc. I mean, he’s willing to support legislation

Idk if this has to do with it, but my friend assists a major makeup artist in Hollywood and said that the past day has been a nightmare with changing dress choices because no one wants to show up in a giant sparkly golden ballgown when so much shit is happening in the country. There’s been a lot of concern about

Well, his brother publicly announced he was not voting for Trump and then showed up at the Women’s March...

I’m sort of mesmerized by her face. It’s all...one even color. With so much powder caked on top that it’s bringing out every pore. Plus the circle of thick liner all the way around her eyes.

Thanks!!

Okay but is it a good workout. Because I can’t find anything about what the class actually is in any of their press materials.
