I’ve not read the books, but I’m betting Brianna will end up having curly hair. Claire’s hair was straight/set in rollers in the beginning of the first season, and was straightened this episode. It was the 60s, girls ironed their hair. Between Claire and Jamie both being curly, it would be weird if we didn’t see

Their chemistry is truly amazing. And I was so excited to see Geillis, though I guess we won’t get any scenes with her and Claire next season. (I say this as a non-book reader, I seriously have no idea.)

I want those glasses so bad.

Those Lions, always lookin’ to lead their pride. :)

Ben Affleck’s a Leo. I thought the exact same thing while I was reading it. They can make you feel like you’re the only person in the world when they look at you. People say that about Bill Clinton all the time, and I think I remember reading (don’t quote me) that He’s a Leo in sun, moon, and ascendant.

It’s from the episode where Emily refuses to plan Gran’s funeral. The two glasses of wine at lunch one is different I think, but that one was great as well. It’s where Emily climbs out the window of the basement and the neighborhood watch catches her without a skirt on.

Oh my, she is wonderful. I got teary just reading that. She seriously has an otherworldly pull on me.

I love Emily in this episode so damn much.

This is wonderful.

I hadn’t thought of the “Hand” angle. That makes total sense considering Tywin was also Hand.

I think there’s a pretty good chance of that happening. I have a hunch it’ll go down like the first Kingslayer moment, with Cersei wanting to burn them all and Jamie having to stop it. It’ll be heartbreaking.

Yeah, I’m trying to prepare myself for that. I would hate to see that particular character go, but won’t be shocked. Not as many beloved GoT characters died as I thought would last night, so I feel like Outlander has to make up for it, karmically speaking. (Karma, in this instance, being GRRM and Diana Gabaldon.)

Ooh, I haven’t heard that one before. I dig it.

Ok, so it definitely seemed like a nod to Tywin, and a departure from her normal getup. She was full on, intentionally trying to look regal, like the throne would be hers to grab. But, it showed her dressing in it before Tommen jumped out the window. Was she expecting him to kill himself? Was she planning on telling

Can’t quite articulate why, but she’s giving me so much Claire Underwood in that dress. Probably mostly the hair, but I didn’t think it until last night.

Picturing an army of hot young things in rowboats now, and it makes me smile. :)

Graham McTavish deserves all the Emmys for that scene. He just fucking nailed it. He’s also fucking dreamy. I go back and forth between loving and hating this character so often, mostly because McTavish is so charismatic that I can’t hate him for long.

Just think of the guns that boy will have when he finally rows up to King’s Landing.

Wait, Podrick is a Payne, not a Baratheon. Are you confusing him with Gendry (they look pretty damn similar) or am I missing something?

Wasn’t Nymeria supposed to be in the Riverlands? Maybe that’ll kick off next season.
