I’ll never pass up the opportunity for a good OMWF ref.

I’ve had the same experience, and I think it boils down to the fact that conservatives are trained to distrust the “lamestream media” and prefer to get their news from “real people” like one-off bloggers and conspiracy theorists.

That one had me rolling.

Exactly. That’s kind of the fascinating part of the show. Like rooting for Walter White. The whole group is an anti-hero.

The only thing that gave the Governor depth to me were the scenes with his daughter early on. I mean, they were totally fucked up, but you could see humanity that was there, and then taken away.

I said the same thing upthread. The prosthetics on Glenn were straight out of the comic. It’s a Kirkman thing, not necessarily a show thing.

That’s the thing—for years it’s been Rick’s groups that are the bad guys if you view them through the lens of any other group they encounter. Negan is especially sadistic and took enjoyment in taunting the group, but he was still exacting revenge for the slaughter of his own men.

I’m not arguing the Saw-esque, torture porn feel of it—but the prosthetics on Glenn almost perfectly mirrored the graphics in the comic. It was a Robert Kirkman thing, not (necessarily) a show thing.

My husband regularly calls our cat this. He’s the only person I’ve ever heard use it.

SO GROSS. It’s obvious they’re trying to spin this away from pedo territory by claiming he’s “young at heart.”

I’ve begun drawing the connection between Hillary and Paris Gellar for a lot of people, specifically when they bring up things like likability. She might be a bit cold or seem calculating or what-have-you, but the woman knows her shit and I can see her getting as much enjoyment out of debate prep as Paris did.

I, also in my mid-thirties, was a fan all along. But I have three different girlfriends, all my age, who recently binge watched the whole thing and loved it. And I’d like to think I keep intelligent company.

I tried to post this earlier too! Damn Kinja.

Mine does this with my tank top straps if I’m sitting down. Or my hair or ear when I’m laying down. SO WEIRD but I’m like you--he’s so happy and purry I hate to pull him off of me.

Solidarity, sister! My little guy is very much the same as far as following me around, and crawling all over me and onto my desk and keyboard when I’m working. And he loves to be held--he’s actually the first cat I’ve ever had and I was not expecting that. He lets me hold him like a baby, which I feel like has

My cat gives little playful “love” bites. He’s never broken the skin either and it’s annoying sometimes, but when you’re petting him sometimes he’ll look up at you, still purring, and put his mouth on your hand or arm without biting down, like “You know I could if I wanted to... right?” Then I’ll be like DON’T YOU

Thanks! We started him out with a crazy heavy ceramic dog bowl but he still was able to scoot that thing all around. Haven’t thought of trying something elevated though.

Honestly that’s the only thing that keeps me from throwing in the towel as a democrat in Redder-than-red Georgia. I might be able to offset one.

OOT, but I WISH my cat drank water like this. He’s obsessed with watching the water move, so constantly bats the bowl around, spilling it EVERYWHERE. I got a fountain for him thinking that would solve things, but that’s just extra stimulation that makes him want to play with it more. I need to find a way to cement the

That’s a good point. It’s one of the first times I’ve seen her seem so genuinely happy and excited.
