Stating “because China” when something controversial and/or corrupt happened in China is kind of superflous (because it’s so damn obvious), but not doing it is also pretty damn cowardly.

Who drinks that much coffee in one go? You flunk reality + is terrible at trolling. Go away, you’re wasting your time.

Guilt by association if nothing else. (IE: the bad engine was mounted to one of their planes.)

“Less caffeine than coffee” - it’s not the percentage which harms, it’s the quantity of active ingredient taken in. So fuck right off with that nonsense.

I’d ride a Temple of Doom mine cart rollercoaster with lava (fake, presumably) and rickety appearance any day of the week. Donkey Kong weaksauce bananacoaster? Naw. Pass.

It’s not going to ram into the fake track. You think you’re the only one here born with a brain? The designers will have thought of this. Look at the animation, the tracks are actually shaped like little ramps as the wheels come to touch down; there’ll be nothing to ram into.

Yeah, that’s a load of nonsense and shouldn’t be permitted.

Poisoning how?

Elon’s problem isn’t that he might be autistic or on the spectrum, it’s that he’s a fucking fascist.

SpaceX is, apart from the most prolific rocket launching corporation ever, also the only route for US astronauts into space, so fairly critical overall. And will be even more so once Starship is in regular service.

You mean like Boeing was? Lockheed? Grumman? Or any other of a couple dozen at least aerospace corporations that grew post-WWII.

I had a GC back in the day and I’ve never ever heard or seen any news of this before, not even once.

I’m not going to make your arguments for you, if you want it to be acceptable for corporations to sell unhealthy and even downright dangerous products to people and get away with it by putting a disclaimer somewhere, come up with rational arguments to support it.

Edgy how? Just plain common sense.

No probs.

Did I say it should be illegal? I said they should be held responsible for the repercussions they cause.

I wasn’t suggesting you should be the one doing the servicing! :) I’ve got nothing but thumbs on my hands myself, I’d never attempt an operation like that myself. I’ve soldered stuff in the past (simple, low-voltage stuff), and...I’m not good at it. :P

The bootlicking is strong in you people.

I’m the type of person who don’t give irresponsible, uncaring corporations a free pass just because they put something on a label somewhere, as if that absolves them of blame for selling bad, dangerous products.

Counterpoint: you’re clearly wrong.
