nice write up, shame they’re going to get skunked by Juve. 2-0.

Ok, poor choice of words. He learned to flip the negatives from his environment into strengths.
“Dolan said he favors a reduced use of Wahoo without eliminating the logo...”
This GIF, with Erik Karlsson and Mike Green pairing off during a post-whistle scrum, reminds of a game in the 80s between the Oilers and the Canadiens, in which a bench-clearing brawl erupted, and both teams spilled on the ice and raced towards each other. Harry Neale was calling the game with Bob Cole and exclaimed…
He might be the best. It’s probably down to him, McDavid, Crosby and Burns right now.
The best salad has a nice dressing.
World’s best hockey players, ranked:
Aaron Hernandez, an innocent man, died in prison. Yet, Tom Brady (clearly guilty of evidence tampering) walks free. That’s America for you.

Thanks for writing this so I didn’t have to.
Fair. I just thought you were saying that in the NHL he was a great player pre-two-line pass.
uh no that is not ‘continuing it’
that is ‘playing baseball’
it is a thing the red sox could maybe try instead of nursing a grudge over literally nothing?
The best revenge is living well. Continuing to hit monstrous HRs would be one good answer to the stupidity. And I’m a Sox fan.
I liked Brassard as much as the next fan, but I’ve been happy with Zibanejad. I’ve enjoyed the focus on that trade, it makes for a great narrative.
Yeah but Phaneuf is a post-lockout player. I understand as you get older and quicker players come in it gets tougher, but he doesn’t bodycheck, intimidate, or use the big slap shot he used to have. Those things take longer to erode than quickness. He was never a great defensive defenseman, but man, he’s just lumbering…
It’s not just that primary assists can be tougher or more important to the play than the finish, but they can also be a good indication of the kind of player, as well. My grandpa coached junior hockey back in the day, and coached some guys who made it to the NHL. When my brothers and I were kids he told us repeatedly…
He hasn’t changed for the most part. He’s always been slow, but rule changes and shiftier forwards have really exposed guys like him, Chara, and even Kronwall to an extent. Imagine how bad Hal Gill would be in todays league.
“New York is almost certainly the better team to begin with in this series...”
