As someone who’s has never liked any of the Call of Duty games I hate play the role of the apologist here, but if they need 1-2 hundred gigabytes to make the most technicly incredible game I’ve ever witnessed in my entire life, so be it. That shit runs like an absolute dream on all 5 SKU’s it was made for, AND the curr

Isn’t the only way Google has been getting away with this the fact that nobody’s ever tried to take them to court? All this “we’re a for-profit company, not a public utility” and “we’re not employers and don’t have to abide by labor laws” horseshit needs to go away at somepoint.

Oops. I didn’t know there was more tutorial after the tutorial, so as soon as I left the cave and entered the open world, I defeated a bunch of dungeon and overworld bosses all over the Weeping Peninsula and Caelid before even discovering how to craft items. I also found a bunch of OTHER s

“The average player does not play our game for more than three hours a day, so we’re limitting the special events to a specific three-hour time period, unilaterally”

Speechless

I honestly don’t know what you mean by gimp cards. Are those the CMP cards Nvidia released with no external ports to effectively disallow gaming (released around february, already e-waste today)? Or do you mean the LHR cards that were supposed to slow down gaming cards when trying to mine ethereum at a specific power

Huh?? They literally made extra mining cards by removing the ability to play games on some

Look, in a universe where Nvidia didn’t make e-waste specific CMP cards that are unusable for gaming in a world with finite silicon, or made their geforce LHR cards limit all mining (LOL) instead of just ethereum at a specific wattage level, or that custom drivers don’t exist, or that enterprise customers don’t know

They didn’t, and by segmenting the market.

MAKE LESS OF SOMETHING THAT IS IN HIGH DEMAND AND THE PRICE GOES UP. IT’S AS NATURAL AS WATER IS WET. NOBODY HAS TO CONSPIRE TO MAKE IT TRUE

Nothing conspiratorial, it’s plain as day. You’re just falling for marketing

“they purposefully locked for their GPUs to discourage miners”

His case would be extremely hard to win, even if he didn’t have to argue for damages, after his new lucrative deal with youtube.

The most believable (in my opinion) theory that has been floated so far is that he was banned fired after getting caught bluffing a higher offer from a competitor while negotiating a

So, because the article doesn’t say, was he banned for streaming the chess event or was he banned for streaming Dr Disrespect playing at the chess event?

I would recommend it, though personally, I bought it on sale, played through the first act, loved it, and then decided to wait until it’s actually finished to play the rest. And by finished, I used to think that meant “a patch to add some glaring omissions ”, but it seems like that’s outside of a scope of a patch.

I’m pretty sure it’s because PCs don’t exist over there. In a console-only landscape, why would you ever have to quit the game you’re playing on your videogame console?

So does that thieving scamp Gatekeeper Gostoc revive with this method? I might’ve used his merchant services if he didn’t steal 10k runes from me

I mean, wasn’t Fallout Shelter announced and released on the same day? And Fallout 4 released like a day after it was announced? I’m obviously exagerrating the shortness of the F4 wait time —I think it was more like a month or two— but Bethesda (the developer, not the publisher) has a rock-solid track record in that
