I remember reading the book and watching the 70s version my first year of high school. Probably too young to really appreciate the story. I’m looking forward to watching this version

Totally agree. You made it much further than I did. I started reading it in late 2020 when the movie was announced and made it more or less to the betrayal before giving up. Maybe I’ll get back to it before part 2 comes out, but there’s so much more exciting sci-fi out there.

I’m back to sci-fi/fantasy this month after an October of horror reads. I just finished up my first George R.R. Martin book, Fire and Blood. It was actually pretty good until it got to the Dance of Dragons and then it started to drag for me. I’m interested to see how the new show treats the material next year.

Right, I don’t get any BoJack vibes from this at all. This has a very different tone/sense of humor.

I love the Scooby Doo cartoons and some of those Scooby Doo movies from the 90s are legit scary. Zombie Island, I’m looking at you.

I just rewatched season 2 and somehow this trailer made me feel like I could watch this show on an infinite loop. 

These have been a little wonky lately. This is for Thursday. Last week (?) a day was skipped. 

CNN’s docuseries have all been hits with me. Can’t wait to check this one out.

I support this! I was pretty tickled by vintage sexy campy movie in this week’s episode and the focus on Tuca has been nice.
