The infotainment test for me was taking my MIL to the airport. She isn’t technologically inept but she also doesn’t know how to operate most of her own car’s infotainment.

It looks OK but if you don’t live with the car it can be pretty un-intuitive to figure out the A/C controls. My step mom has one and every time I get in the thing it’s a ‘Wheres Waldo’ search to find the defroster or change the air vent configuration.

Gah. Screen glare. That is a death knell for me actually liking any interior.

Exactly. I think that there can be a ‘correct’ number of buttons somewhere between Tesla Model 3 and Buick Cascada.

Yeah, you’re looking at an average and trying to apply it to a locality.

The lahars themselves have a predictable map. So, while it isn’t everywhere, there are some pretty far extents for near-immediate death after a Rainier eruption. Landslides will likely also have their way with us puny humans too.

A Wrangler is a ‘lifestyle’ vehicle by most accounts which leads me to believe much of its value is only available when folks can afford the ‘lifestyle’. Wait for everyone to tighten their purse strings and its seems that you should be able to easily remove the lifestyle premium.
