Placing the engine out in front of the front “axle” literally takes weight OFF of the rear tires and shifts it to the front, already overloaded tires. It’s a huge advantage to place the engine rearward of the front axles just for the weight distribution and moment of inertia when rotating.

Lots of curvy 2-lane roads around here with very few passing zones. It's basically driving nirvana except slow traffic, mostly tourists going half the speed limit, that can't figure out what the oh-so-frequent paved pull offs are there for.
