What does expanding wind power have to do with it? Building windmills and taking care of the forests aren't mutually exclusive.

I think 50% in 4 years is impossible’ especially considering the current electrical grid. Regardless, I don’t know how you would do a split like that. If you still allow half the cars to be ICE, most people will just buy the ICE cars and then...what? You have a ton of unsold EVs sitting on dealer lots? Do you punish

Wait, who’s a pedo?

Agreed, but suggest anything about having less kids and typical conservative breeders will start whining about their liberty, how not having babies is un-american/godless, blah blah. And of course these people will continue having 3-5 kids for no good reason.

I’m a massive titanfall fanboy (especially the first one), but I hink the chances of seeing TF3 within the next 3 years (if ever) are slim. I suppose I can dream, as well.

Indeed. Based on the title, I assumed the reveal was going to show a horrendous interior or poor performance, etc. But it looks very competitive. Sure, Cadillac is a bit later than SOME competitors, but GM as a whole has been one of the leaders in EV tech. And where are the EVs from Honda, Toyota and Subaru?

That seems to usually be the case with new console generations. There’s usually a launch title or two that looks stunning and the rest are just ok looking. It obviously takes time for the devs to optimize for new hardware, and we’ll probably see a lot more innovation 2-3 years down the line.

There's nothing wrong with expressing the power output in hp, especially when that's what has traditionally been used in the automotive world. Going forward, I wouldn't mind seeing auto manufacturers express values in dual units.

Indeed, if the Wrangler gets close to this much electric only mileage I will seriously consider one. Same goes for the Bronco if Ford has a plug-in hybrid in the works.

You think grocery resellers equipping all their personnel with hazmat suits is actually a reasonable and practical solution, and one they’re willing to take? And you think one person in a hazmat suit can consistently pack 1,000 bags of groceries a day? As someone who used to bust his ass as a grocery bagger (w/o a

“Quit your job if necessary. " Totally easy, right?

Because this isn’t facebook? I realize Jalopnik isn’t MotorTrend or the L.A. Times, but I expect better. Otherwise what’s the point in visiting the website? I can read rants with no citations on FB, or on youtube comments or some other cesspool of misinformation anytime.

Regardless if whether any of us agree or disagree with his opinion, Bubba is correct that this is a very poorly (non-existently) cited article. It reads as more of a rant or opinion piece. And throwing ad hominem insults about him (Bubba) and his choice of cars is lazy and a poor excuse for debate.

GX was indeed the shizz, although the original on SNES will always hold a special place in my heart.

Life is cheap and pointless in Mute City-1.

Indeed, it’s an awesome unexpected combination. Maybe that’s why it’s so divisive.

I think part of the reason people may have disliked it is because the ad campaign made it seem like it was going to be a different movie.  Kinda how In Bruges was marketed as a slapstick comedy when it was anything but.  Although, to be fair I don't know how you would create an ad campaign for Drive that would give an

Agreed.  Drive is an awesome movie, and what it lacks in car driving quantity it makes up for with quality.  It's a movie that wasn't what I expected, but I love it on multiple levels.

True, but autos are becoming much more common there.  On a recent trip through Germany and the Netherlands I actually had to ask the young lady at the rental counter for a manual.  Although I think that was because she presumed I would want an automatic because of my American passport.  :)

Interesting take. I’m tail end of gen x and my parents are boomers. I know of almost zero boomers who hadn’t completely given up on manuals by the time I was a child. I had to borrow my grandparents’ manual Ford Tempo to learn how to drive stick.
