The issue is the bridges in question aren’t there just for the race. They’re used by thousands of tourists who don’t give a damn about the race, they just want to look at the skyline. It wouldn’t be a big deal if F1 put the screens up shortly before the event started, but they were unnecessarily put up weeks (probably

I’m not sure if Indycar has the means to expand as much as Pato (and others) would like (i.e. overseas), but a race in Mexico to test the Latin American waters seems like a no brainer. Lots of Pato fans and the logistics should be relatively easy, especially if it takes place in the northern part of the country.

Indycar has already been open to additional engine suppliers. Even their current suppliers (Honda and Chevy) are more than open to it, as they are straining to supply and support enough engines. The idea of different engine types is interesting, but I would bet that actually makes it harder to pull in a new supplier

Also, the person quoted about it incorrectly states it’s being done for the Super Bowl, which is unlikely since I believe we’re hosting that this coming February (right?) and Dropicana isn’t scheduled to be finished until mid next year IIRC.

I’ve lived here for 15 years and I have never worked for any company remotely related to the strip, the tourist industry or gambling. Most of the people I know here can say the same. Do we need to further diversify our economy? Sure, and I’d like to see a more concerted effort from our local leaders to that end

Why tf is the death of the nephew buried so far down in this article?

You're telling me Ronald Reagan is going to be president?! THE ACTOR??!?

SHUT UP!

Holy Hyperbole, Batman. I have never heard such an extreme description of turning left. Yes, it can be somewhat frustrating at times, especially when you’re at a stop sign turning left across two directions of busy traffic. But it’s not the end of the world. Unprotected lefts at a stop light, much less so.

“They’re just a subway.” The fuck are you talking about? I WISH this was a subway. A subway would be 50 times better than this glorified slow-moving HOV lane.

The Ram Ram sounds like the perfect truck for hauling hot loads at Ram Ranch.

Let what sink in?

Even though I vehemently abhore Tesla’s “everything in the touchscreen” design philosophy because I think it is lazy, unsafe and shitty, I agree with you. If this guy couldn’t or wouldn’t pull the car over he probably shouldn’t have a driver’s license. I-10 near Palm Springs isn’t even that busy by California

Yeah I know, but I can dream.

This sounds like a Tesla problem, not a direct sale problem.

Same here. If they actually make this (unlikely) and it actually has decent range (also unlikely) I will probably pull the trigger on one, and I'm not even into Jeeps.

I think both versions of the bolt will be dead shortly. But I bet they could build a use based off the upcoming equinox or blazer EVs. I would probably buy one of those.

I was with you until your ad hominem attack.

I’m an average play who likes the mangler, but really I get 80% of my kills with it at close range where I can do the one-shot + melee combo. Any farther out and my chances go way down to the point where I’d be better off with almost any other mid-range gun. I think the mangler is fine how it is.

Agreed - Needler is deadly at mid-range. I’ve been making it a point to use the disruptor more and it’s not terrible, but still lower tier. Ravager is fun as a goof, but uncompetitive. Pulse carbine and plasma pistol are garbage.
