Agreed, but even going beyond the efficiency curve...even if an electric motor has a perfectly consistent efficiency constant of power used per rotation across the entire rpm range, I would still supposed that a motor pushing a car at 60 mph running at 10,000 rpm would use more energy than a motor going 60 mph at

Ineed, seems Roger's biggest interest has been with Indycars.  Growing up in Indy his name was practically synonymous with the 500.

I believe some of the races are broadcast on NBC (free over-the-air network) and some are broadcast on NBCSN (cable).

Aabsolutely. My current fictional dream car is a hatchback Mustang with an EV powertrain and a stick-shift.

It doesn't have to be simulated.  EVs can take advantage of transmissions and most DIY EV conversions utilize manual transmissions.

My guess is they thought “Tesla sells cars for $80-100k so we should be able to sell electric bikes for $30k” without actually considering the differences between car and bike markets or between Tesla’s and Harley’s key demographics.

I’m surprised they tried to sell you a sportster. I’ve read horror stories about how harley salesmen talk down to people looking at sportster because they aren’t “big manly bikes”. Harley’s idiotic company culture just boggles my mind. I will cry no tears when they eventually close their doors.

Your dreams........crushed.

Dat side profile for the 8GC = pure secks.

Looks like some cylon technology.  Kill it with fire.

I’ll never understand why the Jalop-o-sphere has such a communal hard-on for gated shifters.  Gross.

I think you out-Torched Torchinski.

The 777 owner you should be most afraid of is the 3rd owner of a 777.

Holy fuck. I had no idea they were refreshing the Camaro. My eyeballs almost puked.

This is true. I have less than 13k miles on my car and I’m down to 4/32 on one of my tires (and I’m not doing burnouts). Unreal. Also, as Bmac pointed out the grip is non-existent below 70F. Also terrible, even for summer tires.

I thought I was the only one who always thought that scene was weird as fuck.

You do realize there’s more to life (and driving) than 0 to 60 times, right?

I think many of us (even on the left-of-center side) aren’t completely against everything in this tax bill. I actually agree with the business-side idea of lowering the overall rate and balancing it by getting rid of loopholes (especially the ones that mega-corporations use to lower their taxes to insanely low rates).
