I won’t argue with you (statistically you are correct), but in my mind it’s not fair nor should be legal. Would it be OK to charge different insurance rates based on race, religion or nationality?

Anecdotal evidence isn’t worth much. And although I can’t explain your particular situation (don’t have a lot of information), I can assure you that it has always been an open-secret (or not a secret at all) that men pay more for auto insurance than women.
Still a horrifically misleading title. Pure fiction, really. Sad!
Change has to be smart. Putting a big ass screen in the middle of the car with all the info (that forces you to look down from the road) with zero gauges in front of you is stupid and dangerous.
One other advantage: less trucks parked at night by the side of freeway ramps.
I would actually recommend an SN95 or New Edge over a fox body. A bit more advanced/refined in the handling and braking departments, dual airbags, and still cheap and easy to work on.
He’d blow his entire $1k budget on like...5 tools from Matco or Snap-on. Craftsman-grade is more than good enough for the DIY crowd, but really I’d probably recommend Kobalt or Husky over Craftsman at this point. At the very least there is no reason to recommend Craftsman over either of those, as their tools are…
I think the pressure will be on Toyota to move quickly, at least in the European market where country after country is mandating (or at least proposing) phasing out ICEs within the next few decades.. In the U.S., maybe not so much.
Indeed, I’m surprised we haven’t seen many (if any) concepts of EV versions of affordable crossovers (like the RAV4), since that’s what most people are driving nowadays.
yuck. Are those bottles of Mescal? Nevermind, I read the other comments.
He is dreamy...
Wow, that is beyond fucked up. How did someone even come up with that idea? Freakin’ hillbillies.
I agree about the Absolut. It didn’t sit too well with me because of that strange taste which I didn’t know how to describe (I still don’t know what umami means exactly). As far as cheap vodkas go I actually like Smirnoff quite a bit (I think Smirnoff vs Stoli is just a matter of personal preference). If I feel like…
“Broken”? More like, “it’s broken into my heart.”
They already had a RWD V8 manual muscle-car/sedan (the SS) and nobody bought it.
I recall an article on here from a while back highlighting Electrified Wranglers that are being prototyped and tested by a Korean (?) company. There was video of it rock crawling and it looked awesome.
“Jeep FCA, as it is now, is built on the hope that people will ignore electric while gas prices are low and just continue to buy.” FTFY
Indeed, I see it as a similar path to what happened with Craftsman tools. That name used to mean something, but now almost everything is made in Asia, the quality isn’t the same on many products and even the warranty isn’t always worth much. Craftsman used to be THE name for reasonably priced hand-tools for the DIY…
Vine died. They shut it down.
“Boy ain’t rite.”
