Wat? No, I’m 100% sure his hair (and other stuff) was exactly like that when he rolled out of bed. Quit being a Debby Downer.

I don’t disagree with anything you say, but this was also due to DNC incompetence and running a horrifically unpopular candidate who was shoved down our throats. The demographic tides have been turning in the Democrats’ favor for years, but the DNC old boys & girls club is doing everything they can to throw away that

Indeed, all the fossil fuel defenders ignore the fact that electric motors are around twice as efficient as ICEs. Not to mention, you don’t have to change the oil.

I doubt that oil for power generation will become cheaper than renewables anytime soon, especially as the price of solar panels (and the accompanying battery packs that will be needed) continues to drop and implementation continues to increase. Not to mention, switching to oil for power generation over renewables is

You obviously don’t understand how far this government conspiracy goes, Scully.

I kinda thought the same thing. I made inquiries to several dealerships last year when I was buying my Mustang, but I didn’t really get spam or repeated phone calls from any of them. In fact, I had a hard time just getting a quote on a special order from most of them. I was surprised at how little most of them cared

Valid concerns. Regarding the vacuum, my hypothesis is that they don’t need 100% vacuum and that x% of vacuum leak is acceptable.

Good point. I kind of feel like the GTO could have worked if they styled it more aggressively (I still can’t comprehend why they made it look like such a rental car) and offered it in a cheaper trim package. I feel like at the price point it was offered it was mostly limited to well-off boomers, and many of them were

I agree on both points: no marketing (I can’t recall ever seeing a commercial) and bland styling. With regards to the latter point, you’d think GM would have learned their lesson after the new GTO. I guess not.

I was gonna say Norm MacDonald at that roast he did was a great example, but no, those jokes were pure gold.

Well, just because the bet fell through doesn’t mean that anyone’s stopping you. Seize the day and all that.

As an engineer living in Las Vegas, I’ve actually been hoping that Musk might do just that: buy up whatever has been built by FF in North Las Vegas (it’s actually way the hell up in the middle of nowhere, but NLV annexed it so whatevs) and use it as a secondary facility for Model 3 assembly.

However, I see several

Perhaps the car was serviced at a Tim Horton’s.

Indeed. If my Mustang had this feature I wouldn’t use it until my tires were almost ready for replacement anyway. Good tires are expensive for this car.

Don’t worry, you get the awesome soundtrack and an engine that pulls hard all the way to redline. Our ecostangs - on the other hand - die as soon as you hit 5K on the tachometer. Getting the car tuned fixes that, but I’ll have to wait a few more paychecks for that. Also, you guys don’t have to worry about losing power

Indeed, I don’t know how the rental companies will be OK with this. People are going to rent Mustangs just to do this and leave the cars with bald tires in no time. And tires for Mustangs are not cheap.

The amount of jobs created is unlikely to equal the amount of jobs lost as automation increases. I’m all for automation, but we need to start working on solutions now for how we (as a society) deal with distributing the wealth and decreasing work load among the populace. Ideally, in an egalitarian society this would

I bought 89 for my 99 e36 323i convertible because that’s what the owner’s manual suggested. The only car I’ve ever owned that called for 89 octane.

...which makes mid-grade.

To be fair, my e36 (a 1999 323i convertible) only recommended 89 octane in the owner’s manual. I don’t know if other e36's are like this (my guess is the M3's have higher compression).
