Motorola Razr 4 the win. I hear it’s all the rage with the hip youths. I just got mine on an installment plan for $89.99/month for 84 months. It even has a color VGA camera!

Meh, Sync 3 is..........OK. Definitely better than MFT. Now that my ‘16 finally has Android Auto capability (I had to download the update for that myself, because Ford won’t release it for some stupid reason) I use AA most of the time. Way better.

Although I’m obviously not a fan of owning a minivan myself, I will concur (based on my Dad’s 3 Chrysler minivans) that the Chrysler stuff is the best, or at least the best value in minivans and minivan accessories.

Yeah, that sounds similar to the situation with my Dad’s old van. Granted, they’ve gotten better with the fold down seats (as others have pointed out), but unless you stow the rear seat there really isn’t that much cargo space. And if you have to ditch the rear seat, then what’s the point? :)

Depends on the hatchback, but probably not. I never said that there was no reason for a minivan for certain people or that you shouldn’t buy one, just that my Dad didn’t need one and you can certainly get by without one. Almost every family I knew in my neighborhood when I was growing up had two kids and got around

Yeah, I don’t get the crossover obsession. My fiance is into them too. I want to scream, “you know, you’ve just got a hatchback except with poorer driving dynamics and poorer gas mileage, just for some extra ground clearance that you’ll never need.” But at this point she’s used to them because she likes the higher

Yeah, considering that VW sells mostly 4-door GTIs (or 5-doors depending on the nomenclature) I would be surprised if his was the 2-door. If that were the case then I would be on the fence about whether to trade it in and get the 4-door version (I would imagine you could probably get a good deal on a new 4-door GTI,

WUT? I’ll try not to $h*t on people who drive minivans - if that’s what someone wants, that’s fine. BUT...there is absolutely no NEED to get a minivan for two kids. My dad for some reason loves Chrysler minivans (he’s bought two even after me and my sister were off to college and grown). But for two kids it was a

My thoughts exactly. Unless he has the 2 door version I don’t see why he’s even thinking about getting rid of it. And even then, I’m sure he could get by.

Just an FYI: not everyone who lives here is associated with the casino and/or tourism industry. The metro area is home to nearly 2 million people and there is actually some manufacturing here, among other things.

They just made up numbers to get this tax-giveaway passed. It’s shameful even by NFL standards, and our idiot leaders gave in to it without a public referendum:

It depends on the visitor. The high rollers, yeah, they don’t care. I think we’ve lost a lot of middle class business due to ever increasing costs of vacationing here, both from the increasing base costs of things (goodbye $5.99 buffets, etc) and from all the taxes and fees (“resort fees” anyone?). Luckily, I don’t

You could say the same thing about much of SoCal. :/ I like it here. I enjoy the desert, the town has a unique vibe and the cost of living is pretty cheap, especially compared to coastal California.

Indeed, not only are we a relatively small market but unlike other similarly sized markets (like my hometown of Indianapolis) there is no sizeable population from all the surrounding small towns to pull from (because there aren’t any - Nevada is largely empty outside of the Las Vegas and Reno/Carson City/Tahoe metro

Indeed. Not to mention the assets in question are obviously much less expensive than houses.

I think you missed my point, but whatevs. I’m out.

You’re obviously not woke because all the 8-year-olds are playing Overwatch now. Call of Duty is so 2000-and-late, yo.

Interesting. I’ve seen mostly articles critical of Uber on here, so I figured this was Jalopnik trying to even things out due to the common criticism that they single out Uber.

Or Rick Santorum.

That whole “we need an exact address” b.s. really annoys me. Sometimes I wonder if cab companies are actively trying to turn away business.
