I can see evidence of at least three previous accidents just looking at the pictures.  Who knows what’s underneath. 

And a bent wheel, and who knows what kind of damage behind that. Overpriced by at least half. ND

The outside is pretty sad too.

I like Acura as much as the next, middle aged, post import tuner fan but this one has been used and abused. I have a better feeling about this car than I did from yesterday’s Merc, maybe because this isn’t already sitting in a junkyard. Either way, all the soft part of the interior need replaced. The paint needs a Maac…

I know what i have so please, no low ballers.

I bought one like this for $1900. It was fun while it lasted. Which was about 3 years of constant repairs and a paint job. Totally worth it. Now it sits in a parking garage, looking very nice, but also very not running. 

But it’s a fancy beater with chrome wheels and white walls. That’s gotta be worth the extra $3k. If you’re gonna beat, beat in style.

2.5K would make is a buy of me too. It’s just too old and beat for the ask. 

I think this is an example of a car where you buy one for 2-3k and roll that dice that it lasts you for a few years, or 10 grand on one that has been loved and taken care of.  There’s some good deals in that space between, but this isn’t one of them.

For 2.5k , you take care of the immediate issues and roll the dice. Maybe it doesn’t blow up. Maybe fix some little stuff along the way and you actually got a decent car out of it.

Same car on Hemmings for a lot more money. I like the SEC but would rather spend more on a better one than try and sort this one out. ND

The seller really knows how to eff-up a decent ride! Whitewalls? Photo backdrop of either a junkyard or his backyard, crap all over the place, nothing really clean. I wouldn’t trust what else he’s done to this old Merc.

I said about 5K.

I love it but $20k is a bit much for a car that isn't particularly special. The only thing it's got going for it is its not from this country.
