This guy might be in the market for something more sensible than his current ride.

The price is too high considering the labor required to unfuck both the exterior and interior.

The money you’d have to spend removing the bad taste from this truck price it out of what I’d be willing to pay.

I’ve already sworn to never buy a 5.4 Ford, and the Pep Boys vomit all over this truck does nothing to make me rethink that. The ugly seats and ridiculous wheels don’t help either.

I guess, like the old F-4 Phantom, you can make anything fly if you put enough power in it. But this thing is frickin’ useless as a truck. And it’s way too clumsy and heavy for a hot rod.

This thing doesn’t have a single saving grace. It should be crushed.

THOSE wheels?? A mall-poser to the nth degree.

$1,000, in 2010, as I recall, got you pile of crap that either had major running issues, body damage, 300,000 miles or all of the above. Anything better was luck.

Having grown up in a GM family, I can smell this photo

Beater with a heater, right around that $2k if it runs bracket. Good enough for me, NP.

Yup. If you get a year or so out of it without major issues, you done good. Could probably get $500 out of it in 18 months if you didn’t want to drive it until the wheels fell off, so why not?

Nah. Lots of other things will go wrong before an axle problem. It doesn’t have a David Tracey level of rust. Not even close.

Obligatory

They probably didn’t have a choice - most of the boards I’ve seen on those old mock Tudors have warped or decomposed.

I can’t get over the extremely visible seams and the way that the grain of the wood bears absolutely no relation whatsoever to the lines of the bike.

Where I live, everyone did Mock Tudor back in the mid-80s. Really bad Mock Tudor. White OSB with some 1x4s painted black nailed over it, bad. The smart owners have put up siding. As for the remainder, I know what I’m wearing for Halloween.

I’m a cowboy...on a wood horse I ride.

Yeah, this gets me for $2500, but not $1k more. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though, and some people would gladly give up that coin for this car.

PROOF that old + rare does not equal valuable, even if $3500 is on the low side of that word.
